3 cups flour                    

8 tbsp. cocoa (1/2 cup)

2 tsp. baking powder                

2 tsp. baking soda            

2 cups sugar

1 tsp. salt

2 tsp. vanilla                       

10 tbsp cooking oil (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp.)

4 tbsp vinegar (1/4 cup)                

2 cups warm water

1 container of icing and any candy needed to decorate

Directions:

• Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. 

• Add next 3 ingredients. 

• Stir all together, a little bit, then add the warm water. 

• Mix thoroughly. 

• Pour into a non-greased 9x13 inch pan, or into two lined round cake pans.

• Bake at 375 degrees for ½ hour, or when a toothpick comes out clean.

• This cake is great with frosting, icing sugar sprinkled on top, or on its own.
