CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients:

2-1/4 C.  FLOUR

1 tsp. BAKING SODA

1 tsp. SALT

1 C. MARGARINE, SOFTENED

3/4 C. SUGAR

3/4 C. PACKED BROWN SUGAR

1 tsp. VANILLA EXTRACT

2 EGGS

3/4  C. OF chocolate chips

 

Directions:

 

·        COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. 

·        Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.  Use a fork for this.

·        Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Your mixture should be really smooth now.

·        Gradually stir in flour mixture. 

·        Stir in chocolate chips.  

·        Drop by rounded tablespoons onto non-greased baking sheets.

BAKE in preheated 375oF oven for 9-11 minutes of until golden brown.  Let stand for 2 minutes remove to wire racks to cool completely.  Makes about 5 dozen.
