APPLE POCKETS

 

Ingredients:

2 tubes of refrigerated crescent rolls

2 small apples peeled, cored and finely chopped.

1-1/2 tsp. of cinnamon

3 tbsp. sugar

 

ICING:

 

1/2 cup of icing sugar

1/2 tsp. Vanilla

1 tbsp. Milk

1 ziplock baggie

 

Directions:

 

  • Turn oven on to 375 degrees F. 

  • Grease two round cake pans. 

  • Open crescent rolls and separate into 16 triangles. 

  • Combine chopped apples, cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Mix well! 

  • Drop a small spoonful mixture near the wide end of the triangle. 

  • Fold the long points towards the middle over the filling.

  • Seal together by pinching. 

  • Place seam side down in cake pan. 

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. 

  • Put on plate. 

  • Mix icing sugar, vanilla, & milk in a plastic bag. 

  • Seal and squish together to mix. 

  • Cut a tiny hole in the corner & squeeze icing on pockets.

Makes 16.
